They are impossible to pigeonhole & raucous live. The four piece from Leeds kicked up a storm with their self produced 3 track demo recorded in 2007. On Radio 1 Zane Lowe gave plays and props, Steve Lamacq crowned them 'Unsigned Band Of The Week' and Huw Stephens invited them in to record a Maida Vale session. The band were also nominated for 'unsigned act of the year' on Channel Four's Freshly Squeezed. DIY by nature, Middleman have a relentless work ethic and produce their own records, film their own videos and create their own artwork. Their first two singles, "Blah Blah Blah" and Good to be Back reached numbers 14 and 10 in the indie chart respectively and they are currently finishing their debut album.
